Peel Maternity and Family Practice is a Private billing practice and we ask that all patients settle their accounts in full on the day of service. For individual billing items, please call our office and talk to the Administrator.

Most patients can claim a Medicare rebate, which covers part of the fee. The difference between the Medicare rebate and our fee is known as the GAP payment, or your out of pocket expense. We are able to process your account electronically and claim back your Medicare rebate on the same day – except when you have a scan.

From January 2010 there will be an increase in fees. Please talk to the receptionist when booking an appointment about our new charges.

We do discount for Pensioners and Health Care Card holders, although an out of pocket expense does still occur.
